Payment is due in full at the time of service. Wanderlust Mobile Grooming LLC accepts cash, check, Venmo, CashApp, debit, or credit as forms of payment. Failure to provide payment upon completion of services may result in delays or denial of future appointments.

All pets must be up to date on their rabies vaccination, and proof of vaccination must be provided upon request.

Appointments are scheduled within a two-hour arrival window. Actual arrival time may vary due to traffic, weather, or the needs of other pets. Clients will receive reminder texts three (3) days and one (1) day prior to the appointment and are asked to confirm at least one of these messages. A text notification will be sent when the groomer is en route to the home.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made within 48 hours will be charged 50% of the grooming fee. If I arrive and no one is home without prior notice, the full grooming fee will be due.

Clients are required to disclose any known health conditions, sensitivities, or behavioral concerns regarding their pet. Accurate and honest information is essential to ensure the pet’s safety and comfort during grooming. Pets that are seniors or have pre-existing medical conditions (including but not limited to arthritis, myositis, seizure disorders, heart or respiratory issues, anxiety, cognitive decline, mobility challenges, or skin conditions) may be at higher risk of grooming-related complications such as fatigue, stress, physical discomfort, or medical episodes.

Wanderlust Mobile Grooming LLC will take every precaution to ensure the pet’s safety; however, the company cannot be held responsible for issues that arise due to known or underlying health concerns. By signing this agreement, clients release Wanderlust Mobile Grooming LLC from liability related to age or pre-existing conditions.

In cases where a pet’s coat is severely matted, shaving may be required to safely and humanely remove the tangles. Matting can cause pain, skin irritation, and may conceal underlying skin problems. The groomer will remove mats in the most appropriate and gentle manner possible.

Potential side effects from dematting or shaving may include clipper burn, skin sensitivity, itchiness, or the exposure of previously hidden medical issues. Because these conditions are often the result of matting itself and may not be visible beforehand, the groomer cannot be held responsible for any pre-existing or underlying issues that are revealed during or after the grooming process.

An additional fee will apply based on the severity of the matting.

If a pet is found to have a moderate to heavy flea infestation, grooming services will be halted immediately for the safety of the workspace and other clients. The pet will be returned, and the appointment must be rescheduled after proper flea treatment has been completed. In addition, a same-day cancellation fee equal to 50% of the grooming price will apply.

If only a small number of fleas are discovered after grooming has already begun, services may proceed at the groomer’s discretion. In this case, a $50 flea treatment fee will be added to the final bill to cover cleaning, sanitization, and product use.

Wanderlust Mobile Grooming LLC may photograph pets during grooming and use these images for promotional purposes, including social media, websites, and other marketing materials. Photos will never be used to misrepresent or mislead.
